Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are applied in many time-critical applications, e.g., industrial automation and smart grid. This highlights the importance of Delay Constrained Relay Node Placement (DCRNP) problem that builds a path fulfilling a specified delay constraint between each sensor and the sink by using a minimum number of relays. Due to the NP-hardness of the DCRNP problem, in this paper, a polynomial time Subtree-and-Mergence-based Algorithm (SMA) is proposed to approximately solve the DCRNP problem. First, a shortest path tree rooted at the sink and connecting all sensors is built to check the feasibility of the DCRNP problem. If the DCRNP problem is feasible, then the paths of this tree are progressively merged at some relays, which are not limited to those relays lying in the originally the originally built shortest path tree, to save deployed relays while maintaining the obedience of delay constraints. With the repetition of this mergence, the number of deployed relays is gradually reduced. Furthermore, the approximation ratio and the time complexity of the proposed SMA are elaborately analyzed. Finally, extensive simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of this work. Magnetic skyrmions are topologically nontrivial spin structures, and their existence in ferromagnetically coupled multilayers has been widely reported with a disordered arrangement. Here, a nucleation scenario of ordered skyrmions in nanostructured synthetic antiferromagnetic (SAF) multilayers is proposed and experimentally demonstrated using direct magnetization imaging, indirect magnetometer and magnetoresistance measurement, and micromagnetic simulation. Instead of relying on Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction, the antiferromagnetic interlayer exchange coupling in the SAF multilayers fulfills the role of nucleation and stabilization of skyrmions. The robustness of the proposed skyrmion nucleation scenario is examined against temperature from 4.5 to 300 K and device size from 400 to 1200 nm. Interestingly, these synthetic skyrmions still behave well with a size less than 100 nm. The higher stability than generic magnetic domains can be attributed to topological protection. The results thus provide an artificial skyrmion platform to meet the functional needs of high density and designable arrangement in magnonic and spintronic applications. 相似文献

A novel gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) which is based on new synthesized boron‐containing monomer, benzyl methacrylate, 1 m LiClO4/N,N‐dimethylformamidel liquid electrolyte solution is prepared through a one‐step synthesis method. The boron‐containing GPE (B‐GPE) not only displays excellent mechanical behavior, favorable thermal stability, but also exhibits an outstanding ionic conductivity of 2.33 mS cm?1 at room temperature owing to the presence of anion‐trapping boron sites. The lithium ion transference in this gel polymer film at ambient temperature is 0.60. Furthermore, the symmetrical supercapacitor which is fabricated with B‐GPE as electrolyte and reduced graphene oxide as electrode demonstrates a broad potential window of 2.3 V. The specific capacitance of symmetrical B‐GPE supercapacitors retains 90% after 3000 charge–discharge cycles at current density of 1 A g?1. 相似文献

Abstract This article presents a novel numerical method for steady-state thermal simulation. This method firstly solves the heat flux efficiently by applying the loop-tree basis functions. Then, the temperature is obtained by finding solutions of the gradient equation. The half boundary Rao-Wilton-Glisson (HBRWG) basis functions are employed for handling arbitrary boundary conditions. In addition, the triangulation-based interpolation technique is utilized to interpolate temperature profile with obtained results in post-processing. Three examples with mixed boundary conditions are studied to validate the accuracy of proposed method for simulating steady-state thermal problems. Numerical results show that our method has a good accuracy and is well capable of handling arbitrary boundary conditions. 相似文献
